  • It took a while to get ETAs (we paid for 4 hour service and didn't get them until after 24 hours). We had to resubmit passport images few times, and we were having to book tickets ASAP. However, the staff had been polite overall.

  • Final docs were sent to my phone NOT to my e-mail and can't print from my phone! Not easy to "correct" info with the provided Upload e-mail address.

  • I ended up getting my eta approved before they were able to get mine. They didn’t tell me when I applied there was delays and it wasn’t going to be 24 hrs to receive my eta. My application was submitted 3 days ago and they only sent me the approval after I told them I received it already. I think I should have got a refund tbh. Communication was good though.

  • could i suggest a friendlier website that has everything required for a traveler to complete as I have been sent to different links and its confusing

  • Very misleading…the price posted at the front of the process is nowhere what you’re actually charged! Feels like every step you get to more money is added to the price.

  • I had a lot of problems with my visa to Australia. I had several errors and the application seemed not allow me to fix any errors despite saying I could not move on without fixing errors. After reaching out to the visa team I had many automated 'robot' messages that were not helpful and frustrating and did not answer my questions. However, when I was able to get in contact with specific people from ivisa, I was able to fix my application quickly, which I appreciate from the friendly visa team. I just wish I could have been able to talk to a real person right away in my first email.

  • The first part of the app was easy to complete. The hard part is the photo section. It's a little confusing as it's not clearly delineated as to where the photo goes since it looks like there are two places for the photo.

  • The passport scanning process went blank while attempting to scan. It took an additional day to get my passport scanning problem resolved.

  • The experience was stressful, because they block without giving any explanation for it, nor giving support tips to fill in the answer spaces.

  • The process was easy to follow until it came time to scan documents it took me several attempts to send an acceptable one. The help team was very courteous.

  • Service great, but charged so much extra for something automatically done through Australian government!!

  • There’s too much info on your website. It needs to be simplified and be made easy to follow. Have clear steps or links to click on to apply either for Declaration and Visa. I found website very overwhelming and confusing.

  • I applied for an ETA on March 31 and sent in my photo and a photo of my Passport Personal details. It was delayed because the site stated that the Passport personal details had not been completed. I resent the Passport Personal details and the site still stated that the Passport personal details had not been completed. I talked on Chat with Jesse who told me that the process had been escalated. On checking the next day, the site still said the Passport personal details had not been completed. I talked on Chat to Hannah who investigated and gave me the first accurate piece of feedback which was there was glare on the photo. I resent the Details and was informed by Antonella that it had been accepted. Thank you, Hannah and Antonella! If the accurate feedback concerning the glare had been given immediately it would not have been delayed 4 days.

  • There is something hide in your website. I selected, initially 24 hour service (US 55), because my flight ✈️ will be in three days. After the requested paperwork, at payment time, it was impossible to select that service, (inactive window) and I was enforced to select the more expensive option or above, (US 30.00 or more). This is a real RUDE BUSINESS PRACTICE. AVillota

  • Despite being invited to add person #2 to my application, it did not work and necessitated my having to close that page and start again after having fill in ALL the details of both applicants! Secondly, the help button person asked questions, but their only suggestion was to refresh the page and lose the information, which of course is what i had to do. I think the layout might be part of the problem. But ...

  • Your chat line is very slow to transfer to someone who help

  • I had a query which Isubmitted to your online chat but I just received some standard messsages telling me how to apply for a visa but no answer to my question- so I had to decide on my own :)

  • Charged $70 for a 1 hour service. Took 4 hours. At least they refunded $50...

  • Applied for tourist visa to visit my family. Paid money. Was impressed with how quickly it was processed ...until I realised they had put it through as a working visa. When I contacted them, they assured me it is for tourism purposes only, even though it states "working" on the visa type. Have decided to cancel my travel plans to see my family in Australia as a result so I don't end up on Border Security TV show.

  • Requested copy of passport 24 hours after submitting application. If you need a copy to process the ETA request user upload when they apply. Not impressed.

  • It was easy but it used to take less than an hour without extra charge

  • Good service - but I am not sure that you need to use them and pay a fee at all.

  • While fairly quick the email sent with the link asks for a login and password. Not a clear process for keeping a copy electronically on a device.

  • I have just received my visa. But it took almost 48 hrs, but anyway got it and Thank you

  • When I arrived at the airport for my flight to Brisbane I was informed that my visa was only valid for a day, not sufficient time to take my holiday in Australia. My travel agent had arranged by visa which should have run well into 2020. I was therefore forced to apply for another visa resulting in me nearly missing my plane. The wait at the airport was long & stressful unnecessarily so. The staff were forced to speed things up by telephoning Canberra office to get the process speeded up. I would dearly love to know what went wrong.

  • Name on my visa incorrect. Asked in email to contact someone immediately if this happens but only point of contact appears to be a webchat, and at 10.30pm at night his does not appear to be active.

  • I paid for a super rush 1hour service. The visa was received in about an hour and thirty minutes. I was able to make it to my flight. But i did not receive the service as promised.

  • I didn’t realise I could have gone to a government department and it wouldn’t have cost so much.
    ChristineOctober 23, 2019
  • First it said it was failed also on the normal website it is for free and I just found out my passport in not valid anymore so I need to get a new one :(

  • Ok, my opinion of iVisa has gone down in my estimation in 48 hours. I had to repeatedly go on chat to ask them for reassurance about my husband's visa. It was not correctly worded. They kept saying it was. Then they said they had sent me a replacement visa in an email. No, I never received it. It took 48n hours for them to realize it had not been sent. Not only that, they had taken the 20$ it cost me out of my bank to do this and said they would send me a link. No link appeared. So I went ahead and paid for a new visa which was not granted because there was one already in the system for Australia. So again 20$ dollars was owing to me from Saturday. You claim to sort out queries and refunds promptly. I asked on Monday, has the refund been paid? I was assured it had and would back it up in an email. No, it hadn't. An hour later I was notified that it was sent to my bank. Funny that. Lack of communication. A lot of unnecessary worry for me over this visa problem when all it needed was for you to give me the link for the 20$ to be paid and the paperwork for the corrected visa to be sent. Not good enough.

  • It took much longer time than 30 minutes for rush order as said, almost 2 hours instead of 30 mins. I realise the problem after I spoke to help center. Fortunately I found this help otherwise I must miss my flight with lot of financial concerning to booking and paid all hotels, car hire, etc. He is very helpful, nice and try to calm me down. I believe it will be much nicer if you contact me back right after 30 mins if you have doubt and ask for more information instead of letting me wait hopelessly and nervously. I know that it is also my fault but we can fix it if you inform instead of letting me find my own way as a senior panick due to the flight is turning their clock.

  • Free should be free? I paid £20 admin.... But an easy site to use.

  • The system itself is easy enough, though you could look at the NZ app which uses scan technology to scan the passport and thus fill in most of the data we need to give through the PC interface. I also regret the need for an iVisa and the expenses incurred.

  • I had a bit of problem starting up the visa application form but once I sorted out the minor problems, it was fine.

  • A complete waste of time and money! I have waited for five days without any news from iVisa, before contacting directly an official government website of Australia... which granted me my evisitor in 5 minutes AND without paying anything,... No thanks for the whole stress your site caused me. I won't use it probably.. Despite that, the team contacted me to talk about my problem so it does compensate a little.

  • I bought the visa and it came to me withing minutes. Good start. Arrived at the airport and there was no visa associated with the passport. This left us having to reapply etc. etc. We ultimately got a visa through a different route and made our way. I contacted customer (Kustomer) service who, after a number of back and forth emails, asked me to send proof of the other visa. Before I did this, however, I received an email from the quality manager who had looked into it himself and seen that the visa had been assigned to the wrong nationality. He took care of the problem as best as was possible and if I could rate him I would rate 5 stars.

  • 1 out of 4 applicants did not pass the approval process however I was not informed why and what I should do.

  • nice service compared to foreign government's. Only thing to improve is responsiveness of live chat, and availability of answering to phone call (at least during work hours, not to speak of 24x7)

  • Good to have a preview of the name on visa before submission. There has been a confusion over the first name, last name and surname. Due to different nationalities and ethnic groups, some of us may have our surname as the first name, others having as the last name.

  • Customer service rectified the situation promptly with a refund of the 1/2hr service and an explanation, which I’m greaful for, well done ivisa. Paid for 1/2hr service and it took over an hour almost missed my flight.

  • I paid for the 2 hour Australian ETA because I needed the visa confirmed as soon as possible. However, iVisa attached the visa of another applicant for another country to my account, which (1) caused me considerable distress because I believed that I had been scammed; and (2) was a breach of privacy for the other applicant. However, when I emailed iVisa, they responded quite quickly and were able to attach the proper ETA to my passport. Unfortunately, they only assigned the ETA electronically to my passport, instead of providing me with an ETA number, which caused significant confusion at the airport. In the end, the flight company was able to verify my visa and I was able to fly, but not without much distress.

  • Bought the fast service and it was delayed so I was not even able to use the service. Paid a high price for something not delivered. However,I was given a full refund which was very helpful, and I see this as good customer service.

  • The time taken to get the ETA was longer than envisaged. It took more than 10 days.

  • I hadn't realised that this wasn't the official VISA site for the Australian govt. So a little bit sneaky I thought. But I got my VISA, hence the three stars. It just cost me three times what it should have done.

  • It seems like a lot of money to enter Australia when most first world countries don’t charge anything. $57.98 for two adults seems like a lot to me. When we visited a couple of years ago I thought $20 each was a lot! The website worked well. There was a request for more money for something else but at least that was optional.

  • just trying to get a visitor visa to visit my relations nothing more, to many web sites to negotiate and more chance of landing on one you have to pay for. eventually found correct one and am now looking forward to our first visit to your great country. could do with a simple guide for old fogies like me.

  • It took three tries to get it. The procedure is confusing as it appears there are many sites that are doing this as a business and attach an additional fee. I did not know which were business sites and which one was a government site. I still do not know who I was dealing with a government or business site. Needs lots of improvement to eliminate this confusion and the opportunists.
