COVID-19 requirements and restrictions for Australia

Most COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted in Australia, however, some requirements still apply for specific travelers.

From January 5, 2023, people traveling to Australia from China, Hong Kong, and Macau, are required to present a negative PCR or Antigen test result COVID-19 taken within 48 before departure.

If you arrive from other destinations you don’t need to show a negative COVID-19 test to meet Australia's travel requirements.
