Hi Chloe,
It's great that you're considering a visit to Australia. Yes, all your supporting documents for the Visitor Visa (subclass 600) application need to be translated into English. This includes personal documents like your birth certificate, bank statements, and any other required paperwork.
The translations should be certified to ensure their accuracy. If you're applying from outside Australia, the translator doesn't need to be accredited, but they should include their full name, address, telephone number, and qualifications, along with the date of the translation.
Hi Kallaivani,
Planning a trip to Australia is exciting. Having a pending PTPTN study loan shouldn’t automatically prevent you from applying for an Australia Visitor Visa. What matters most for your application is demonstrating that you have the financial capacity to support your trip and a clear intention to return to Malaysia after your visit.
When you apply, be sure to include evidence of sufficient funds, like bank statements, payslips, or proof of sponsorship if someone else is helping cover your trip. This will assure the immigration authorities that you can support yourself during your visit without financial difficulties.
It’s important to also provide documents showing ties to Malaysia, such as property ownership, employment, or family responsibilities.
As long as you can show that you meet the visa requirements, your study loan shouldn’t impact the outcome of your application.
Hi Sada,
Yes, you can absolutely include in your support letter that you’ll be providing financial support for your friend’s stay. This can make her Visitor Visa (subclass 600) application stronger, as it shows she’ll have sufficient resources during her visit.
Make sure your letter includes details about your relationship with your friend, the purpose and duration of her visit, a statement that you will cover her expenses, such as accommodation, meals, and travel within Australia, and specifics about the financial support you'll provide. Including evidence of your financial capacity, like recent bank statements or proof of income, can further show your financial stability.
Hi Anisha,
We’re sorry to hear that your visa was refused. It can be frustrating, especially without clear feedback. When a visa is refused due to insufficient information, it often means the supporting documents didn’t fully meet the requirements. Unfortunately, the application fees for the visa and biometrics are non-refundable, even in the case of a refusal.
You won’t be able to update an existing application, but you can submit a new one. For the reapplication, we recommend carefully reviewing the refusal letter to identify any areas where more information is needed. This may involve providing more detailed information about your travel plans, stronger evidence of your ties to South Africa, or additional financial documentation.
We offer a paid visa service with an expert review process that can help avoid future denials. If you have more questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with our customer support team.
Hi June,
It's wonderful that you're planning to visit your children in Australia. If you apply through our platform, you can get a Visitor Visa that’s valid for up to 12 months. There’s an Australia Visitor Visa option that’s valid for 3 years or more: the Frequent Traveller stream. However, it’s only for select nationalities, and, unfortunately, South Africa isn’t one of them.
The good news is that you don’t need to have purchased flight tickets to apply for an Australia Visitor Visa. Instead, you can provide a proposed travel itinerary that can strengthen your application. Ensure you include details about your planned visit, evidence of your relationship with your children, and proof of sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay. It’s also a great idea to provide evidence of your previous trip to Australia, such as your old visa details, as this demonstrates a history of compliance with visa conditions.

Hi Kathy,
That’s a good question, and I understand how it can be a little confusing when you’re temporarily staying in another country. Since you’re living in Italy right now, you don’t need to submit your application to a specific consulate or embassy. You can apply for the Australia Visitor Visa (subclass 600) entirely online.
When filling out your application, make sure to mention your current residence in Italy and provide any supporting documents that reflect your status there. This could include proof of your residence or your Permit to Stay application. Also, ensure you submit any documents showing your ties to Australia, like proof of property ownership or other relevant details about your planned stay.
It’s always a good idea to apply well ahead of time since processing can take a few weeks.
